The Product: Vintage blue and white Chinese pottery ‘Double Happiness’ jar
We always admire vintage blue and white Chinese pottery. In particular ‘Double Happiness’ jars. These portend the joy and happiness of marriage celebrations. Often, they come with a lid as decorative ginger jars. They can also be used as vases if fully glazed on the inside: this pot is but does not have a lid.

The Detail
This beautiful, Chinese vase in blue and white measures approximately 20cm in diameter x 24cm tall. It is in great condition, bar some tiny dints/imperfections in the glaze (see images). This is normal for a Chinese ginger jar, likely dating from the 1950s. There are, however, no chips, cracks or damage and this vintage Chinese pottery jar/vase is in excellent condition!
