We always admire vintage blue and white Chinese pottery. In particular ‘Double Happiness’ jars. These portend the joy and happiness of marriage celebrations. Often, they come with a lid as decorative ginger jars. They can also be used as vases if fully glazed on the inside: this pot is and does have a lid.

The Detail
This beautiful, Chinese vase in blue and white measures approximately 20 cm in diameter x 24 cm tall. It is in great condition, bar some tiny dints/imperfections in the glaze (see images). This is normal for a Chinese ginger jar, likely dating from the 1950s. There are, however, no chips, cracks or damage and this vintage Chinese pottery jar/vase is in excellent condition!
