Flatweave rugs have a relaxed feel and eclectic appeal altogether different from more formal, high-pile, tufted, wool rugs. It’s worth considering existing elements within the space and the overall look you want to achieve. They are a great way of delivering colour and pattern and are extremely versatile, sitting equally happily in Victorian townhouses, urban lofts, country houses or ultra-modern new-builds.

Depending on their colours, ‘Jali’ rugs provide background pattern as a foil to furniture or, alternatively, anchor your scheme as a bold, focal point. This version, in a muted palette of warm greys, is a great example of the former. It provides a scaled-up pop of pattern as a background to layered, neutral schemes, yet has enough contrast to get noticed.

The Detail

The rug is woven by hand in Rajasthan from 100% wool/cotton. It is fully reversible, comes with a fringe and is available in two sizes within standard delivery windows if in stock. The rug can also be back-ordered if out of stock, in which case the lead time will be approx. 6-8 weeks.
