A vintage enamel salt box in blue, probably French in origin. Wall-mounted storage with a pretty scalloped shape and pre-made hole for hanging.

Essentially, a wall-mounted storage caddy, this vintage salt box is perfect for storing kitchen or utility room essentials such as string, boxes of matches or clothes and sponges. We styled our salt box with glossy, tapered dinner candles from H&M Home. You could also create a pretty display with bunches of dried flowers!

The Detail
In good condition albeit with expected signs of wear such as some tarnishing to the enamel and small areas of rusting, mainly on the back. No dents or damage. Please note the salt box would originally have had a lid. The salt box measures approx. 21cm tall x 16.5cm in width and projects 9cm from the wall.
