The Product: Vintage Irish pottery goblet (or bud vase!) by Wade Irish pottery
A rare, vintage Irish pottery goblet or bud vase by Wade, County Armagh. This Irish craft pottery porcelain goblet dates from the 1960s or 1970s. It has all the rustic charm and earthy colours of the sea, the sky and rugged Irish landscapes.
Styling Ideas – vintage pottery goblets…
Let’s face it – who drinks from goblets these days?!? A little glühwein for one could work – or a thimble-sized portion of hot chocolate! To my mind, these sturdy, weighty little pieces of hand-crafted pottery work brilliantly as miniature bud vases. A pretty touch on a guest room bedside table. Inexpensive to fill and full of thought and cheeriness. Not to mention traditional Irish handicraft in all its rustic simplicity.
