The Product: Floral French dishes with vintage grey and blush floral
This set of seven elegant, floral French dishes or bowls showcases vintage, transferware rose motifs in soft blue-grey and blush. The design comprises a faux scallop and shaded edge detailing.
The Lowdown
The set of seven, quintessentially French dishes, were actually sourced from a UK antique market and it was the pretty colour combination that first caught our eye. The rustic floral design conjures up images of lazy lunches in the French countryside.
How To Style The Vintage French Dishes?
We’d go fresh and contemporary with our table décor, teaming the pretty vintage bowls with plain, altogether more modern dinner or under-plates, such as the chic, grey, stoneware plates used here. Add in colourful modern glassware and a crisp, white linen tablecloth (this one was made from an Ikea linen by the metre!).

The Detail
The French dishes measure approximately 23cm in diameter each and are available only as a set of seven. They are in great condition for vintage plates – no major nicks, chips or scratches – only very minor visible signs of wear. Both designs are back-stamped with their manufacturer’s mark.
