The Product: Yellow linen tablecloth with Hungarian motifs
One for the bottom drawer! You will want to treasure and keep this beautiful, jacquard-woven, pale yellow linen tablecloth. Much like the muted shades and soft handle of antique, French table linen, this reversible, brushed, linen and cotton weave fabric has a weight that allows it to drape beautifully and it will surely only get better with age.
The Lowdown
Subtle contrast patterning references playful bird motifs taken from traditional Hungarian folk patterns. Both give this subtle, golden yellow, linen tablecloth elegant and enduring appeal that works in homes both classic and modern.
Styling Ideas?
Style up for a summer lunch party or a wintry, festive display with a sparkling, white-on-white tabletop scheme. Assemble new and old crockery in shades of white, off-white and cream then team with elegant, modern glassware. Try Divertimenti or John Lewis for a good selection of retro tumblers, goblets and decanters, as styled on this tablescape. Add in plenty of green foliage and pillar candles in simple, elegant storm lanterns. Alternatively, create a pretty, Spring table with copious pink, white and yellow blooms.
