The Product: Vintage floral jug in pink and orange multi-colour
A beautiful and colourful pitcher or jug, marked with the maker’s mark Edwards & Son, Dale Hall. We understand this pottery operated at Burslem in Stoke-on-Trent from 1842 to around 1882 when the pottery was taken over by Knapper & Blackhurst. White ironstone was a speciality of the Dale Hall Pottery. This is also transferware, I believe.
The Lowdown
The pitcher has some signs of its age/wear around the red rim (see images/video) but is generally in great condition, with no obvious chips or damage. We particularly love the intricately decorated handle.
How to style your vintage floral jug
I love the idea of this colourful, decorative jug filled with Spring or Summer blooms. Think blowsy peonies or a riot of roses. Hugely pretty, this vintage floral jug in pink is perfect for styling summer tables for entertaining.
The Detail
The pitcher measures 22cmH x 17cmW (at the widest point to handle) x 15cmW.
