The Product: Vintage embroidered braid cushion in pink and taupe
A large, taupe glazed-linen cushion cover with a feather pad. Across the top of the cushion cover is a vintage, embroidered Thai panel braid in vibrant pink and grey, sourced in the textile markets of Chiangmai, northern Thailand. This would have formed part of a traditional Thai costume from the region.
The Lowdown
The glazed linen is a vintage designer plain with a slightly brushed and glazed taupe linen finish (by Dominique Kieffer we think). Please note there are currently two, very similar cushions available – see the other one here. The only difference is the background colour and level of wear on the vintage Thai embroidery panels across the top. Otherwise, the cushions are pretty much identical so could be used together.
Styling Ideas?
We’d mix these one-of-kind cushions with all-over patterns such as Ikats, crewelwork or hand-printed linen designs. Shop by colour for pink or brown cushions to style your sofa and match your room scheme.
The Detail
The cushion cover has a concealed zip and measures approx. 50cm x 50cm. Dry clean only. Available for immediate despatch.
**PLEASE NOTE**
Our cushions come with new (cruelty-free) feather pads. However, we do not send feather pads outside of the UK & Europe due to import restrictions and eco/environmental considerations. We are happy to send cushion covers only to these destinations: the lower price point for cushion covers only, reflects both reduced product & transport costs. Our flat rate delivery charges at check-out for each regional zone remain the same.
