Eye-catching, green cushion covers with a large-scale, geometric print in grass green. These cushions are one design from a range of cushions designed by talented textile designer Eva Sonaike and inspired by the architectural patterns of West Africa’s post-colonial era.

The Lowdown

African design cushion covers, such as this and many others in the collection, are vibrant, punchy and add bright colour to their surroundings. They work brilliantly on retro, mid-century modern or Scandinavian upholstery styles but also on contemporary furniture. Perhaps a smart, L-shaped sofa, a linear chaise or statement occasional chair. Styling Ideas?

It goes without saying that African print cushions speak of sunnier climes and lend themselves well to stylish, summer sofas. However, we also rather like the idea of juxtaposing this design with cosy, chunky-knit throws and cushions in a palette of winter whites too. A design for all seasons.

The Detail

Each African print cushion measures 50cm x 50cm and comes with a duck feather pad for a perfectly plump finish. The cushion cover is made from 100% cotton with a green cotton velvet piping and reverse plus an invisible zip. All Eva Sonaike cushions are printed and made in the UK.
