A pretty, colourful, Poole pottery posy ring with painterly depictions of countryside flowers, probably dating from the mid to late 1960s. This ‘Traditional Ware’ references a hand-painted style introduced to the brand by Truda Carter in 1921.

This genius and not-often-seen shape makes this petite, low-level (and therefore conversation-friendly) vase brilliant for pretty blooms of different shapes and sizes. Choose meadow flower colours for a summer table setting. The colour combination is what is so appealing about the painterly decoration with its combination of violet, grass green, jade, Royal blue and yolk yellow.
