Luxury linen Indigo blue Japanese print cushions provide a deep, inky take on a distinctive and timeless aesthetic.

The Lowdown

The simple, graphic pattern was first created as a linocut. Designed in-house at the Rapture & Wright studio, the design is transferred onto screens, ready for hand-printing. A Japanese textile dating from the 18th Century inspired the design. This is hand-printed onto soft, bleached linen. Coordinating cushion piping is in plain, ‘String’ linen.

Styling ideas for these luxury, Japanese print cushions?

Pair symmetrically on a sofa or bed. Add interest to plain-upholstered occasional or accent chairs with patterned, rectangular cushions. These also provide lumbar support. Check available space to ensure the cushion fits across the back of your seat. High-backed, wing chairs or capacious, modern side chairs are good candidates.

The indigo-blue Japanese print cushions come in two sizes and in a variety of colourways. See here for alternative colourways. The square cushion measures 50cm x 50cm. The rectangular cushion measures 30cm x 50cm. Cushions arrive with co-ordinating, plain piping, a feather pad, and a concealed zip. Dry clean only.
