The Product: Framed textile art in Thai hand-loomed cotton in Regal purple
Thai framed textile art in a rather regal purple with pea-green accents. Heritage is made modern with a simple, white, woodgrain frame (long portrait or landscape versions) or bevel-edged, soft grey frame (smaller, portrait version). If you loved northern Thailand and its colourful heritage and motifs, then here’s your decorative hit, just waiting to go up on your walls.
The Lowdown
These textiles were hand-loomed by a family firm in northern Thailand that has been producing Thai silk and cotton, woven textiles for over 200 years. To our mind, this design is imbued with the Thai aesthetic in an appealingly modern palette. To showcase them, we framed lengths of the textiles in simple, white-washed or soft grey wooden, boxed frames to create framed textile art for your home. They are a brilliant addition in hallways on the narrow wall space between doorways. They look particularly good hung vertically, parallel to architraves. The smaller, portrait version is a great addition to ‘gallery wall’ picture arrangements.

The Detail
This striking, purple, framed textile art measures 33.5cm x 85.5cm x 2.5cm projection in the longer version and, approximately 45cm x 30cm x 1.5cm in the smaller, portrait version. As bespoke orders, they can be framed to hang portrait or landscape (see below).
