Luxury red check cushions with a frill. These generously sized scatter cushions are handmade from a vintage French linen check and pack a punch on any sofa, bed, or daybed. They’re not just a little like super-sized red gingham cushions. The jaunty, scarlet check cushion cover has a matching red pinstripe frill and blue contrast piping made from Irish linen: timeless and fun!

As a handmade cushion sewn from vintage fabric (the check front and back), your purchase forms part of the circular economy. The addition of this artisanal woven piece also brings soul and a story into your home.
The classic combination of red and white check feels particularly Gallic when teamed with a toile pattern in a similar colourway – on wallpaper or upholstery, for example. Otherwise, the cushions pack enough punch to be standalone items and would dress any sofa with aplomb. The Detail
Luxury red check cushions with frills: The double-sided frill trim is made from pinstripe red cotton, and the contrast piping in blue is made from Irish linen. The cushion reverse is identical, bar the blue pipe. There is a discreet, concealed zip at the bottom/back of the cushion cover. The cushions measure approximately 50cm x 50cm (60cm square, including the frill trim).

Our cushions come with new (cruelty-free) feather pads. However, we do not send feather pads outside of the UK & Europe due to import restrictions and eco/environmental considerations. We are happy to send cushion covers only to these destinations: the lower price point for cushion covers only reflects reduced product & transport costs.
