The Lowdown
These striking, baby pink silk Ikat lampshades from the Rosanna Lonsdale range are created using hand-dyed fabric that is woven in Uzbekistan to ancient textile designs. Lampshades are then made up in London by hand.
Pattern placement varies between lampshades – this is the eclectic nature and charm of Ikat fabrics. Indeed Ikat patterns were traditionally mixed and displayed alongside one another to create an exotic, vibrant display, rich in colour and pattern. If you wish to purchase two lampshades to sit specifically as a pair, please note ‘PAIR’ in the notes section on the checkout page. We will then ensure they work beautifully as such.
Styling Ideas?
The larger-sized, statement lampshades are great for adding interest by punctuating the ‘room scape’. They inject colour and a shapely silhouette. Use a pair to bookend a drawing-room sofa on tall lamp bases sat on elegant lamp tables. Or, team a large, single lampshade with a substantial base on a dining room sideboard. Perhaps use the candle shade sizes to top wall sconces or place a pair of small lampshades on simple, slim bases at either end of a console table.
