The Product: Iznik pale blue wallpaper in Mamluk hue
This pretty, pale blue wallpaper offers a great way to add gentle colour and detail to your living space without the flatness of a painted colour. The lively, Middle Eastern-inspired pattern creates a feeling of depth and is of the perfect scale so as not to overwhelm.
The Lowdown
This smart and elegant wallpaper was designed by Rapture & Wright and inspired by a fragment of decorative glazed pottery from 14th-century Syria. The pattern is hand-printed onto a base paper to order, by the metre.
Pale blue wallpaper – how to style it?
This wallpaper is a great starting point for a classic blue-and-white scheme in a glamorous dining room or eclectic, sitting room. Temper cooler hues with the patina of warm wood and layered soft furnishings in whites and creams. Otherwise, pastel-pretty blues with an indigo accent look great teamed with fresh greens, deep pinks, warm orange hues or mustard.
The Detail
Iznik wallpaper is hand-printed and comes untrimmed. It is available by the metre, at £28 per metre (minimum order 10 metres as 2 x 5 metre lengths). Please use the + sign on the product page to add the number of metres required to your basket. The wallpaper measures 65cm wide and has a 36cm repeat.
