The Lowdown

This block-printed wallpaper was created in-house at the Rapture & Wright studio. The design was inspired by the wonderfully naive decoration on a piece of 15th Century, Italian, tin-glazed pottery.

How to style this patterned blue wallpaper?

In this cool, elegant colourway, the design provides a brilliant foil for a chic, blue and white scheme. Most importantly, soften and cosy up the room with paler hues. We’re thinking textural layering in a palette of creams and off-whites encompassing velvets, linens, silks and woollens. These might take the form of cushions, upholstery, rugs, drapes and throws. By the same token, the warmth and patina of vintage, wooden furniture counters the coolness of a blue and white scheme.
