The Product: Blue and green rug with chevron design
This blue and green rug in lime/sky blue is flatwoven in India. The chevron design brings to mind the Indian architecture of the Mughal era with it’s repeating, arrow motif, thereby adding a cultural dimension to any room scheme. However, the design is also surprisingly modern in feel.

Flatweave rugs have a relaxed feel and eclectic appeal altogether different from more formal, high-pile, tufted, wool rugs. It’s worth considering existing elements within the space and the overall look you want to achieve. Indian dhurries are a great way of delivering colour and pattern. They are also extremely versatile, sitting equally happily in Victorian townhouses, urban lofts, country houses and modern new-builds.
Depending on their colours, all-over patterned rugs such as this, provide background pattern as a foil to furniture. Alternatively, they help anchor your scheme as a bold, focal point. This vibrant, combination of cool blue and lime adds a fresh, invigorating punch of colour to any room scheme and would work brilliantly as an accent within an otherwise calm, bedroom scheme.
The Detail
The blue and green rug is woven by hand in Rajasthan from 100% cotton. It is fully reversible, comes with or without a fringe and is available in two sizes within standard delivery windows if in stock. The rug can also be back-ordered if out of stock, in which case the lead time will be approx. 6-8 weeks.

Please note, these rugs are handmade from natural materials using traditional techniques. The hand-crafted nature of these items may sometimes imply very slight variations in colour or minor imperfections. We have made every effort to ensure our product imagery and colours are truly representative. For added confidence, we are happy to provide you with paint chip/fabric swatch colour references on request, to ensure your finished rug works perfectly within your decorative scheme. Flatweave rugs work brilliantly with non-slip rug holds on both hard surfaces and carpeted floors to prevent possible slipping. Try John Lewis for these or shop around online for various options to suit your floor finish. Flatweave cotton rug care: dry clean only.
