The Product
A lively, turquoise lampshade handmade by Quirk from striped fabric with all the look and feel of a traditional, wooden deckchair sling. Transport yourself to the British seaside and beyond with these fun and colourful lampshades.
The Lowdown
Perfect for coastal homes and those with a love of boating, beaches and nauticalia. Perhaps, like us though, you just love a punchy, colour-pop stripe! Two other blue hues are also available with a paler blue here and a striking Royal blue here.
Styling Ideas?
The bold, wide, contrasting stripes add colour and definition to any ‘roomscape’. A fresh, bright and breezy addition to any hall console table – give your guests a cheerful welcome!
The Detail
Each turquoise lampshade has a rolled edge and is lined with rigid, flame retardant PVC. The shade can be used for ceiling pendant fittings with the ring at the top or can be turned around for use on table or floor lamp bases and is available in three sizes:
21cm high x 20cm diameter (best for small table lamps)
21cm high x 30cm diameter (best for table lamps)
21cm high x 45cm wide (best for pendant shades where a shallow shade is preferable due to restricted ceiling height)
These lampshades do not require a shade carrier and the shade comes with a 41mm European ring fitting and an adjustable plastic ring for 29mm UK fittings. These fit directly onto the bulb carrier of your table or floor lamp base or onto your ceiling pendant fitting, ready to be screwed tightly in place. Recommended bulb: max 60W or Energy Saving 15W bulb.
A translucent diffuser to cut glare from beneath pendant fittings (only) is optional. Please select this from the drop-down on the product page, prior to checkout.
